      Given f(x) = 6x – 4

      To find f(x) when x=8, we will have to put x = 8 into 6x – 4

      f(x) = (6 × 8) – 4

      f(x) = 48 – 4

      f(x) = 44

So, the value of f(x) when x=8 is 44.

The correct answer is b) heterogeneous and shows Tyndall effect

        Let us see why so?

We know that S(Sulphur) and CS2(Carbon Disulphide) do not form a uniform composition so it forms a heterogeneous solution.

And in water CS2 settles down as the bottom layer and sulfur remains suspended in the solution forming a colloidal solution thus being able to show tyndall effect.

Therefore, a mixture of sulphur and carbon disulphide is heterogeneous in nature and shows the Tyndall effect.
