Which of the following solutions will have the highest electrical conductivity?
A) 0.1 M CH3CHOOH
B) 0.1 M NaCl
C) 0.1 M KNO3
D) 0.1 M HCl0.1 M HCl (D) solution will have the highest electrical conductivity
Reason: We know that highest conductivity is achieved by strong and concentrated acids and here the strongest acid is HCl which results into the most H+ ions and thus the highest molar conductivity.
