Clearly Nitrogen(2) is not a greenhouse gas.
What is a greenhouse gas?
A greenhouse gas is a gas that absorbs and emits radiant energy within the thermal infrared range i.e a gas which produces heat in atmosphere.
Examples of greenhouse gases are water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, sulphur dioxide and ozone.
