      The correct answer is (B) The fossil record provides evidence of a common ancestor to many species.

      Explanation

      A: It can not be correct because we found several evidences related to evolution from fossil records.

      C: It is not correct at least until now as we did not yet find any such evidence violating the theory of evolution

      D: This is not true either because we can date fossil records using various methods like carbon dating etc.
