        Explanation:
        As we know friction is a force which opposes the motion and it exists between two bodies in contact.

        Friction is higher on rough surfaces. We can decrease friction by applying lubricants like grease, oil etc on the surface.

        Thus if we apply oil on door hinges the friction will decrease as oil acts as a lubricant here on the hinge.
