        Answer: C) 4 and -6

        Given,
        =>x^2 + 2x = 24
        =>x^2 + 2x – 24 = 0
        =>x^2 + 2x – 24 –> (x-4)(x+6)

        now equations (x-4)(x+6) = 0
        x-4=0, x+6=0
        x=4, x=-6

        So answer is C.
        You can also solve by inserting the x values individually in the given equation.
