Discriminant of **9x ^{2} + 2 = 10x** is

**28**

**Solution:**

Discriminant of a quadratic equation **ax ^{2} + bx + c** is

=> **b ^{2} – 4ac**

Given equation is 9x^{2} + 2 = 10x

Moving 10x to the left we get

=> 9x^{2} – 10x + 2 = 0

Comparing with general form of equation

=> a = 9, b = -10, c=2;

Substituting into the discriminant formula, we get

=> (-10)^{2} – 4(9)(2)

=> 100 – 72

=> 28

So, the discriminant of 9x^{2} + 2 = 10x is **28**
