JEE Main Results 2021 LIVE Updates: After delayed twice in this year. The JEE Main results for the fourth and last session are released, a record-high number of student – 44 – have obtained 100 percentile score and 18 students got rank 1.
Students can download their scorecards from jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in. After the result declaration, the JoSAA counselling for admissions to IIITs, NITs will begin soon and JEE Advanced — IIT entrance examination registrations will commence from September 15 or there might be some delay.
This year 18 students got rank 1. The rank are given by using special formulae the details of a matter are not yet disclosed.
To give rank , students who share a similar score undergo tie-breaking criteria. The age has been dropped together of the standards form an equivalent . Now, marks obtained in math, physics, and chemistry are going to be considered respectively followed by students who scored the least negatives in the exam.
This year’s result has also been stained by controversy because the CBI investigation found that a minimum of one among the exam centers in JEE Main 2021 were compromised.
A personal coaching institute alleged hacked into the systems and used to attempt exams on behalf of student . Students were promised seats in NITs in exchange of rupees twelve to fifteen lakhs, as per sources in CBI.
