        Answer: The quotient is 3x^3 + 6x^2 + 8x + 24 + 47

        Explanation
        The given dividend is,
        (3×4 – 4×2 + 8x – 1)

        the coefficients of x^4, x^3, x^2, x and constant are 3, 0, 4, 8, -1.

        The divisor is, x-2

        It can be solved by using long division as shown below.
