        Given f(x) = 6x – 4

        To find f(x) when x=8, we will have to put x = 8 into 6x – 4

        f(x) = (6 × 8) – 4

        f(x) = 48 – 4

        f(x) = 44

So, the value of f(x) when x=8 is 44.
