Slope of line AB which contains points A(4, 5) and B(9, 7) is **2/5**.

**Solution**

Slope represented by **m** of a line given two points on the line (x_{1}, y_{1}), (x_{2}, y_{2}) is as following

= (y_{2 }– y_{1}) / (x_{2 }– x_{1})

Given two points are A(4, 5) and B(9, 7)

So, we have x_{1} = 4, x_{2} = 9, y_{1} = 5, y_{2} = 7

Substituting in the above formula, we get

Slope(m) = (7-5)/(9-4) => 2/5

So, the slope of the line is 2/5
