Firstly what are sexual and asexual reproduction.

Sexual Reproduction: In general sexual reproduction is where two parents are involved in the production of the offspring. The reproduction is done by male and female gametes.

Asexual Reproduction: In general, asexual reproduction is where only a single organism gives rise to the offspring. This leads to a genetically identical offspring.

Advantage of sexual reproduction over asexual reproduction are as follows:
1. Most important advantage of sexual reproduction is that there is a genetic makeup of the individuals.
2. As there are two parents involved, there is chance of getting attributes from both of them and a chance of evolution and adaptation.
